Compliance Statement

The Congress of the United States enacted the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in 1996. The HIPPA regulations specifically address the areas of:

· Electronic Transactions (October 2002)
· Transaction Code Set (October 2002)
· Security (April 2003)
· Privacy (April 2003)

At CallPointe we feel that these regulations are essential to the success of the evolving web-based eHealthcare environment, and that they will dramatically influence the efficiency of healthcare administration. We are compelled by law to use HIPAA regulations as the minimum standard for all healthcare related transactions. We currently comply in our business practices and physical site with all approved HIPAA regulations and will continue to do so as those regulations evolve. CallPointe continues to closely monitor the evolution of HIPAA requirements for security and privacy. We are aware of the proposed security rule and are evaluating our software to ensure compliance, as it becomes necessary. It is CallPointe policy to ensure both current and future compliance with all relevant HIPAA regulations, as they become effective and to ensure our business practices, software and physical site will not place our clients in breach of HIPAA.
